Coronavirus (COVID-19)

If you are planning on travelling distance to attractions, we would recommend that you contact the venues directly in advance to avoid disappointment.

If you, or any of your party have a new persistant cough, or develop a fever of 38C, we would instead advise you to use the NHS's dedicated website for professional advice.

Crownhill Fort

The largest and least altered of Plymouth's great Victorian forts, completed in c1872 and occupied by the military until c1986, restored to its former glory by the Landmark Trust. Visitors can now discover the underground tunnels, explore the ramparts, marvel at Victorian architecture and discover the guns, including the 'disappearing' Moncrieff. Experience our past heritage in the barrack rooms and museum, observe the uniformed men carry out the gun drill and actually fire the guns.
